My First Experiences With the iMac 27″ Core i7
In October 2009 Apple announced two new iMac models. One with a 21,5” display and another with a 27” display. I had looked for a new computer for a while and knew that I wanted something powerful, however not as powerful and expensive as the Mac Pro.
I looked on the Apple website and found that the 27″ iMac was available with a quad-core Intel processor, either an Intel Core i5 at 2,66GHz or an Intel Core i7 at 2.8GHz. After becoming addicted to it on the Apple site, I tried a dual-core 27″ in an Apple Reseller Store. It was huge but I loved the high resolution screen and the LED backlighting made it pop against the already astounding Apple 24″ LED Cinema Display.
Display Update for 27″ iMac
Apple has also released an iMac Display Update for the 27-inch iMac that will address issues that can “cause intermittent display flickering”. If you have been experiencing these annoying issues, this is an update for you.
