OS X Tip: Reveal App Location in Finder

A quick OS X tip for you all today. If you command-click on any application in the dock, it will open Finder and take you right to the location of the app on your hard drive.

Tip: Adding Multiple Items to the Dock

Did you know that you could add multiple items to the dock all at once? You can! Just select multiple icons in the Finder and then drag them to the dock. They will all appear where you dragged them (as long as it is to the right of the dashed line).

Make Dock Icon Transparent For Hidden Applications

A very simple, yet very efficient tweak that you can do to your dock, is to make the dock icon transparent for applications that you hide (Command + H). Open up the Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and paste in the following command-line script:
