LittleSnapper: Screenshot Taking and Organizing Made Simple
LittleSnapper is a screenshot application with a twist. It allows you to capture the screen as well as full-length web pages and store in its library, for annotation and sorting support, making LittleSnapper a full screenshot organizer! This is a real advantage if you save a lot of screenshots and you want to keep them in order and easily find them.
Capturing the Screen
You can capture any regular part of the screen, just like with the built in screenshot tools. There are a set of shortcuts (Option + Command + 1 though 5) that you can use to initiate the screenshot, or go into the menubar item and chose the action you want to take. There is also a capture menu within the application.

Capturing a Website
Another capturing feature that LittleSnapper has, is the ability to capture a website in its entirety. You again just go to the capture menu, use the shortcuts, or go to the menubar icon to have LittleSnapper either open the website in its own browser and capture, or capture from the open browser.
You can’t however capture a website from a browser that isn’t in the same space as you are. LittleSnapper will then grey out the options for webpage snapping, and indicate that there are no open browsers. Once you go back into the space where you have your open browser, it will give you the options again.

Sorting Screenshots
When you are done taking the screenshots, you can sort them into collections. You can either create smart collections (that get filled based on a criteria) or into standard collections that you fill manually.
You can also view them by type. LittleSnapper will automatically tell if it is a Screenshot, Websnap or a Photo.
Apart from organizing them into collections, you can rate them, name them, tag them and everything else you would expect from an organizing application.
Annotate Screenshots
You can also annotate screenshots within LittleSnapper. In the screenshot above, I’ve taken an online receipt and blurred out the information I don’t want you to see here, as well as highlighted some important facts that were on, as I was sending this to a friend for reference.
Conclusion
LittleSnapper is a very nice application for all the screenshots that you need to archive and save. I still use the built in OS X commands for all the basic screenshots that I just throw away quickly but for things like online receipts and things you want to save, this is a very nice piece of software that I definitely recommend!
Summary
Little Snapper is an application that allows you to take and manage your screenshots; both annotate them and sort them.
