Updates to Safari and Bluetooth

In the shadow of today’s iPhone 3.0 release, Apple has updated some software/firmware on the Mac to new versions. The fixes area available right now in Software Update (or Apple.com) and consists of Safari 4.0.1 and Bluetooth Firmware 2.0. More details by clicking the continue reading link!

Safari 4.0.1

The new Safari update weighs in at 43.8 megabytes and fixes recent issues between Safari and iPhoto, specifically in regards to Facebook publishing and the places feature. It can be gotten right from the Apple.com Safari downloads website or by going to Software Update on your Mac.

Bluetooth Firmware 2.0

The updates to the Bluetooth firmware is said to fix some bugs as well as improves compatibility with the Mighty Mouse and the Wireless Keyboard (both from Apple) that has recently experienced connection-drops. It weighs in at just 1.78 megabytes, requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 and can be downloaded either from Software Update on the Mac or by going to the Apple support website.
