SuperDuper 2.6.1 released!
SuperDuper!, the popular backup software, has been updated yesterday to 2.6 and today with a bug fix to yesterday’s update, 2.6.1. New in this new version are quite a few things, apart from Snow Leopard compatibility. A new feature called Backup on Connect, lets you schedule items to backup once a drive or a disk is connected to your Mac, and not only at a fixed time. Couple another new feature, Eject on completion, you can have SuperDuper! automatically eject the drive/disk after the backup is completed!
The new version also has support for Leopard’s sparse bundles and PGP full disk encryption. A note from the developer. If you have existing schedules, recreate them as the script driver has been heavily updated as well.
You can get the update right from within the application itself. It is free for registered users and if you aren’t, you can get a copy of SuperDuper! for $27.95.
